Shannon Wells of VATPAC informs us: "April is just about wrapped up and looking toward May, we have a bit of a quieter month, with no major events planned, but keep your eyes out because you never know what can happen.
Upcoming Events
· Tuesday 2nd May – Australia Online: Darwin
· Tuesday 9th May – Australia Online: Bankstown
· Wednesday 10th May – VA Night: VOZ – flying the pacific blue legs, keep your eyes peeled for this one
· Friday 12th May – Aus Tour: Sunshine coast – Hamilton Island – always fun Hamilton Island
That covers the first couple of weeks in May, we have a ski fields event planned for late May, a few other VA nights and Australia Online, with the EOM Event…still to be decided, I do take bribes J
There has been talk in the forums about Hosting VATPAC Events in YOUR city. I.e., you set up your “real world” house, to have some “real” controllers come around, and host an Event for half a day or so, in the local “virtual airport” i.e., I could have my house come available for all the local Hobartians to come around and we would open Hobart Tower and ML-TAS for the day. I’ve had a few expressions of interest, but not quite enough to get this one really going strong, so if you are interested, please give me a shout out." |
