Just in case you didn't seen the AusFlightSim homepage before this event dropped off into the archives I'll reproduce it here. This is set to be another great event in the wake of the Great Aussie Crawl. There's a fantastic bunch of guys from EWA and Virtual VFR that get together for these flights so I'd encourage anyone who is a fan of VFRing around our great country to come along and join in.
Paul Phibbs of EWA writes:
"Hi fellow pilots,
Recently we held a very successful event Aussie Crawl, which circumnavigated our wonderful continent - Australia. In Aussie Outback Trek we head into the centre of the continent flying from the coast to coast heading west. The VOZ textures will greatly enhance the enjoyment of this flight as we pass through the changing terrain of our continent.
All are most welcome to join in. Newbies are most welcome and will quickly feel at home as there are many experienced pilots that are only too happy to assist.
During the flights, we are always available via the company frequency for a chat about anything that needs clarification or for assistance. We will use CTAF or UNICOM frequencies for postion broadcast etc.
The event will commence on 7th and 8th of April (straight after Tassie Tigers concludes) and will run for 15 weeks. Friday nights and Saturday afternoons have been nominated to suit a range of pilots.
I look forward to you joining us for what proves to be an eventful and fun flight.
Regards, Paul Phibbs (EWA512)." _________________ Cheers, Adrian
