Weather your interested in Helicopters as a simulated hobby or you want to learn how to fly one for real.

Make you self known right here.

Give us a brief description of your self and your interests.

This little show of hands will help me to decide how much time and effort to put into an Australian Helicopter Group.

I will go first.

Name: Gavin Gillett
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Location: Perth, Western Australia

I was born an Aviator it just took me 25 years to get my licence. I'm currently working my way towards a CPL (H) or Commercial Pilots Licence (Helicopter) for those that are just starting out.

I work as a contractor to a mining company in the Goldfields working 2 weeks on 1 week off because AVGAS is not cheap and neither is a $60,000 dollar education so I may not get to your message right away but I will get it.

I'm currently a member of the Australian Flying Magazine Readers Advisory Board (RAB) and you will be able to laugh at my photo next issue.

That's enough about me I’m not that interested.

Put your hand up give us a brief and I will see if I can get something together for us.

Regards

Gavin Gillett

Recently, out of the blue, I decided to make a remote control helicopter, and, well, it was all downhill from there Smile I got hooked by FS as a temporary pastime, but then I started to see how very hard it would be to make an RC helicopter the way I wanted. So I decided to get into real helicopters.

I have not yet actualy flown in a helicopter yet, but I hope to take my first lesson soon. I have been looking into a flight school in Louisiana to get all my licences. There is a roomer that an oil company down there is willing to sign a contract with students that will pay for their traning and give them a job as soon as they graduate.

Thats about all about me, I've hardly done anything worth talking about in my first 15 years,
Nivek
