Hey all,

Ive just stumbled across the site and decided to join my names Simon, im 25 from Adelaide, i have never found other Australian FS fans so im looking forward to meeting you all...

I have been a FS flyer since the first incarnations of the game, Really the Rotorheads forum is getting me a bit excited, im a extreme helicopter nut. Ive been flying the helos since they were intoduced to the game and ive seem to collected a over 400 helicopters from the net, and have made many custom to fulfill my needs within the game

I dunno just how good my flying is, i can take off and land pretty much anywhere, i like downloading helipads no matter where they are and get the chopper down in the center of the pad, have alot of FS autorotation practice so engine-off landings dont worry me depending on objects

My favorite helicopters would be my EC145, EC135, MD520N, MD600N, MD900, Bell 427, A109E Power, EC120, EC130b4... my modeling sux but there are so many good models and repaints out

Please let me know what you like about the game im interested to know what you like about it... Wink

Thanks Simon

G'day Simon,

Welcome to the forums mate! If you're a rotor head head you and Gavin will have a few things to talk about. Me personally I'm not all that into helo's, I just don't understand how they are able to stay in the air lol

What do I like about flight simulation? Well, never having had the opportunity (as in cash or time) to get some real world flight training, and a real enthusiasm for planes and flying I find that FS is the best if not the only alternative. It works for me and it's getting better all the time, especially here in Australia. Over the last few years we've seen a number of great flight simulation communities go from strength to strength. We're in exciting times for the hobby and I love being a part of it.

Thanks Adrian, good to meet you...

Not saying you wont see me all over the site cause im still crazy bout all aviation, but i do love my rotorcraft... Wink

I have a simular situation to you, I wanted to be a pilot, or a maintenence engineer, or even wash them... hehe just didnt have the right motivation when i was at school, now im a qualified Upholsterer/Motor Trimmer, but havnt lost my fixation with aircraft

I would like to save up and put myself through flight trainning but i guess ill see what happens, i dont think i could make a job of it mainly just to satisfy my dreamz...

Anyhow FS flying is probly as close as ill get... so make the most of what you got i guess, It gives us the ability to fly in any location, from any airport, and with aircraft we most likely wouldnt be able to fly in real life

Do you guys do link up flights where your all on eachothers screens i wanna learn how to do that...

Anyhow... hope to see you out there

Simon
