Hi, is there any add on scenery available for Tyabb airport in Victoria for FS9. If so, where could I find it. It is my home airport. Also is there an easy program available to build my own runway. I have 250 acres on Flinders Island (Tas.) with an existing 800m grass strip, which I owuld like to replicate on FS9. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi pilotpete
welcome to the forum
i cant say I've seen a scenery for Tyabb, but then i don't have fs9 anymore
but you can easily create a grass rwy for your airport, to do this you will need Lee Swordy's afcad2 (freeware) available at avsim.com, i think the file is called afcad221, do a search there or even a Google search will reveal afcad2, it comes with an excellent tutorial so reading it is a must
hope this is of help

Hi Ray, thanks for the afcad2 information. I had Tyabb & Tooradin on FS2002 (downlaoded) and Tyabb is on FSX (poorly). I am using FS9 for VFR practice as my FSX is a bit slow with the scenery turned up. FSX is alright for the IFR stuff.

Do you know if 2002 scenery will work on 2004? I have voz1.5 installed on FS9.

found tyabb and tooradin on cabs scenery, havent installed them yet. I installed afcad2 as suggested, created my runway on Flinders Island, (Tas) at North East River but I am having trouble excluding autogen trees in the middle of runway and flattening the area. I tried changing the cfg file and also downloaded flatt ex v1.0 and tried that. every time it kept coming up with a message saying too far north, when I was trying to mark the southern edge. is there an easy way to flatten and area and eclude some trees in FS9. Not sure if having STRM or Voz1.5 upsets the cfg files or flatt ex. Sad
