|
|
Hi all,
Been a while since purchasing my last payware aircraft and that little plastic card in my wallet is beginning to grow mouldy from lack of use. To me that means it's time to pull it out for the purchase of one of the latest and greatest payware birds.
So my question to the populus is this. What Payware Aircraft do you Fly? I am looking for suggestions as to what offers the best realism for your dollar. If you've recently made a purchase I'd like to hear from you.
Not only do I want to hear about the aircraft itself, but also the extras that come with it such as various liveries, manuals (printed or electronic) and it would be great to know which vendors offer the best after sales support as well.
Be great to hear what people have been buying lately. _________________ Cheers, Adrian

| Have to agree with the above....Definately go with the PMDG series. The 737 is fantastic and the 747 is amazing. Would highly recommend the FS2cew add on for the 737 and for complete realism add FS Passengers. FS passengers has a demo version for free however that only works for flights going out of SFO. |

i am somewhat older and so totally enjoy the MAAM DC3 and the capt Sim 707. I did have the aerosoft beaver but the computer screwed up and it was lost (or was it me that screwed up??). Anyway the DC3 and the 707 still rocks on my system here.
I also, like gavin, like whirlybirds as i use to jump in and out of them when i was an Airfield Defence Guard playing wargames for the RAAF. So if anyone knows of a great Bell Huey (Bravo or Hotel model) for FS9 let me know!!

I would suggest going to Hovercontrol.com and doing a search on Huey's.
Normaly I would give you 1 or 2 models that I like but in this case there are so many I wouldnt be able to choose just one.
There are plenty of Hueys in the File Library that depict Australian units, squadrons and commercial aircraft and I think you will find that all but a few are very high quality.

Hi All,
Thanks for the replies guys, I wouldn't mind a new payware quality jet to add to the hanger so unless anyone else has another suggestions I might go with the PMDG 737NG and 800/900 expansion.
To tell you the truth, have been looking at this for quite a while. _________________ Cheers, Adrian

Yeah, get the 737's for the domestic flights and get the 747 queen of the sky's for your longer ones.
I want to download fscrew and fs passangers but i dont like that u have to buy a new FScrew add-on for every aircraft that comes out. _________________ AirBornComputers.com

What Payware aircrafts I use? Let see
For short to medium flights with jets I use the PMDG 737 series
For Medium to long range I use the LDS 767
For long hauls I use the PMDG 747
All three extremly realistic and nice looking aircraft
And last my favourite. Majestic Software Dash 8 Q300. You can merge this one with Dreamwings Dash 8 100 with stunning result. Contact me if you want to know how... |

I use the PMDG 747-400, the Ariane 737Ng series, the Captain Sim C-130 and the AlphaSim Seaking (missing an Australian repaint). _________________

| I tend to fly the Level-D 767 most of the time. I've always loved the 767 and this is the pefect package for me to fly around. |
