Hello !

I just tried to install the "Queen " on my new System (Vista 64 bit )
for FS 9, which is installed on partition "D". But the installer always says:
Flight Simulator is not installed on your System. What can I do?
I opened the registry and there I looked for "Flight simulator ".
The registry obviously found it on " D ". So, why can the Queen not be installed? Anyone a good idea?
Waiting for help, from good friends Very Happy

Scotty

Btw: I already installed the PMDG 737-600/700 and it worked.
Then I tried to update it to 737-800/900.But the installer says:"You must have first installed the 737-600/700 version".Hey!! I did it. So why is it not working?

you could try creating a folder in programs files/ms games/fs9 on C:\ using the default path, make a gauges folder and an aircraft folder an try again.
if it did install you would then have to c/p every thing to D drive?

not much of an idea but easy enough to try.

Hi scott

I see you have install fs9 on your D drive fs like to be on C drive so you could uninstill fs9 and then reinstill fs9 on C drive.

I only have fsx on (Vista 32 bit ) but i have not had a go at putting fs9 on Vista.

Hello Martin !

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately FSX likes it most to be installed on drive D.So,because FSX will be the main FS,I decided to build following system:

1 HDD 160 GB for Vista 64 bit

2HDD each 400GB in Raid 0 for FSX

Because my old FS9 is about 80GB in size (and still growing)I do not like
to install it on drive C.But I know there are people"somewhere outthere" Wink who made it running.

So I am still waiting for the right answers.

Hello Martin !

Yes, the flusifix tool is very useful.I am using it now for more than two years. It helped me very much with my old and very slow system.
Today, with my new system,it is nevertheless a very nice tool Smile
