Hi Guys,
By request, I have been asked to re-run the course I put together a while back - Flight Radio for VFR Pilots.
The participants will receive course material that covers the following areas:
+ Setting up FSim with the necessary tools to connect on-line for voice communications.
+ Radio Equipment used in flight
+ Standard Words used in Radio Communications
+ The Basics of Voice Communications over Radio
+ What is Airspace
+ Information Services - ATIS
+ CTAF Procedures
+ GAP Procedures
+ Radar Services
+ Clearance into Controlled Airspace
+ Emergency Procedures
There will be five events to reinforce the material covered above:
+ Session 1: CTAF - Ground and Circuit Training
+ Session 2: CTAF - Departing, Inbound, Overflying and Go Around Training
+ Session 3: GAAP - Ground and Circuit Training
+ Session 4: GAAP - Inbound and Radar Services Training
+ Session 5: Flying OCTA and Entering Controlled Airspace
The sessions will be run on Wednesday nights and a commencement date will be advised soon.
A certificate will be issued to participants that successfully complete the program.
